Z100 PPGI (Pre-Painted Galvanized Steel) refers to galvanized steel used as a substrate with a total galvanized coating weight of 100 g/m² on both sides. This galvanized coating weight strikes a good balance between cost and corrosion resistance, making it one of the most common specifications in overseas construction markets.
The Z100 PPGI steel coils produced by Wanzhi Steel strictly comply with international standards such as ASTM A653/A755, EN 10169, and JIS G3312. The base material is available in commonly used steel grades such as DX51D, S350GD, and SGCC, with thicknesses ranging from 0.12 to 1.2 mm and widths up to 1,250 mm. Colors are available according to the RAL color chart, and custom color matching is supported. If your project is located in a coastal or highly corrosive environment, you may also consider our PPGL steel, which offers superior salt spray resistance.

Z100 PPGI steel coils are primarily used for metal products in indoor, semi-outdoor, and general corrosion environments. Examples include:
metal roofing panels, interior partitions, decorative wall panels, suspended ceilings, shelving, metal cabinet bodies, home appliance manufacturing (home appliance back panels, appliance cabinet bodies, etc.), ventilation ducts, and other products requiring a colored surface and stable processing performance.
The Z100 has a total zinc coating of 100 g/m² on both sides. Combined with the primer and topcoat formed by continuous color coating, it can meet the requirements of many applications that demand both aesthetic appeal and basic corrosion resistance. For roofing and wall products subject to long-term exposure to rain, humid air, or salt fog, the zinc coating specifications should be reevaluated based on local environmental conditions, design life, and the coating system. Z180 or Z275 are typically more suitable for such conditions than Z100.
The advantage of Z100 PPGI does not lie in achieving the highest corrosion resistance rating, but rather in striking a balance among material cost, surface finish, and processability while meeting practical application requirements.
